The term Alfredo originates from Alfredo di Lelio, a Roman hotelier in the 1920s who invented the dish Fettuccine Alfredo having a similar Alfredo sauce.

Composition of Chicken lasagne
Now let us see how to cook Chicken Lasagna. The following ingredients are to be gathered. These, when baked can serve six people.
• 4 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 10 Lasagna noodles, cooked
• 2 Cups shredded mozzarella cheese (200 g)
• 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 4 Tbs salt
• 4 Tbs pepper
• 4 Tbs garlic powder
• 4 Tbs canola oil
• 3 Cloves garlic, minced
• ½ medium white onion, finely chopped
• 2 cups Heavy cream
• ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
• 1 cup fresh parsley, chopped
For baking, preheat the oven to 350°F or 180°C. Slice chicken breasts in half length pieces and sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder evenly on both sides of chicken breasts at the rate of one teaspoon. Take a large pan and heat up the oil.
Do not forget to sear the chicken for a minute on both sides. They can be further cooked on the oven later on.
In the remaining oil toss in the garlic and onions, stir constantly until the mixture browns. Pour the cream, stir it and see it boils before adding the parmesan and parsley.
Cook for another extra minute and switch off the heat. In a rectangular baking pan now take one-fourth of the cream mixture on the bottom.
Add enough lasagna noodles to cover the sauce and spread half of the remaining cream mixture on top. Place chicken breasts to cover the sauce, sprinkle the Mozzarella adequately, followed by half of the bacon and half of the parsley.
Now start making the layers beginning with noodles, sauce, chicken, bacon, parsley, and Mozzarella. Overall the baking time can go up to 28 minutes but make sure the cheese has become golden brown. Keep it aside for cooling at least 15 minutes, slice it, before serving.
